Did not go as planned!

Well I had hoped to clean the house (dust and Vacume) but got sidetracted and cleaned out the storage closets instead. Had lunch with hubby at home planned to have chicken for dinner. Not so much! While doing the running around with the kids and the other household stuff. The dinner hour (late as usual) creeped up on me. Me and Hubby decided to eat seafood. So each of us picked up a kid and met at the resturant.

Got there starved. And the waitress sets down the hushpuppies YUMMM! And the butter container  with the menus. Already knew what I wanted, she took her time coming back. Before I knew it 3 hushpuppies with butter gone and I was reaching for another when Hubby asks now how are you going to post that. Realizing what it did  I stopped and had him put the evil butter and hushpuppies on the other side of the table. You know out of my reach! He is so helpful.  Normally the whole bowl and 3 things of butter would have easily made it in before I would have realized.

Well Then I ordered a salad and crablegs. I did not use the 3 containers of butter she brought out or nor did I eat the coldslaw that can with each plate (love coldslaw but very high in cals). Did not finish the crablegs, and could not finish the salad. Yeah my stomach must be shrinking!  About 3 weeks ago I could have easily ate all the crablegs, salad, coldslaw and hushpuppies.

I knew the cals were going to be high today.  So came home and worked out. So now I am tired sweaty and bloging late…..oh well . I will be picking myself up and dusting off tomarrow. Too tired now.

I did get my water in!

Cleaning out

Well I have cleaned out every nuk and cranny in the kitchen, dinning room, pantry, one bathroom and living room. It took 5 hours nonstop!

I am cleaning up 18 years of … well we might need this someday  and having a yard sale and listing the big ticket items on craige’s list! Hubby is kicking and screaming all the way!LOL We both want to change and I say out with the old and we are not replacing it with anything. He is having a hard time letting go of the old!

Clutter seems to weight you down and we both want the weight gone!

Well with all the cleaning I did manage to burn a few cals but not enough according to log. Going to have to exercise Wed, thur,fri,Sat to reach my goal for the week.

Did however drink my PLAIN water 105 oz and no soda! Keeped with in the calories for the day (1700) Yeah!

Well this is my first time adding my food journal it has exercise on it too I think we will see.

Kept with in my calorie limits of 1700. However no exercise today. Have a day of house cleaning on tuesday planed. Did get my water in YEAH.

WATER question ????

Can coffee and tea becounted as part of  your water intake? I know that when I did Jenny Craig you could count it for only 1/2 of your daily water intake. It did however have to be decafe and no sugar added . That was many years ago.  What is the thinking now?

Comfort food

My friend has a web page and she was blogging about comfort food. Hers was grilled cheese. Mine is chips. Any flavor will do. Reading her story made me think of why it is a comfort food.

My mom and I would go once a week to the food store and on the way home we would polish off 1 or 2 bags of chips (the store was 30 mins form the house) , listen to the radio or chat about the weeks events.  This was a good memory for me as a child. My mom and I did not get along well and now she has past on. I guess it is away of bringing back good memories.

Getting to know this site better.

Well I do not have alot of time to sit and play on the computer. So after a week in a half of clicking on this an that, I have struck gold! I can post my food journal and calories burned for all to see! This will help keep me inline! And help me with my plowing thru the snacks in the house. Do I really want to post I ate that! Starting to think before eating (a good sign I think) ;-)

Just getting it out!

I Love the fact that I can get what ever is in me head out. Before Buddy slim the only people I had to talk about daily ups and downs where the people here (at my house or local friends) and they had issues of they own. I had to be careful what I said could not really let it flow. Also could not really enjoy my ups either because I felt guilty about my good day because they were down.  Here I can let it flow good or bad and there is not guilt or having to hold back. Thanks for listening to my ramble.

Kids and there dirty knees!

I love to see pants with dirty knees! It mean my kids are out and playing not sitting in front of the TV or computer or video game…. you get the drift.

ok the back story…… our family is verrry couch potatoish! And we are trying to change that! I have a 10 year old and a 13 year old both boys and both very different. My 10 year old plays baseball and soccer pretty well . My 13 year old does not like sports by has found karate and likes it. Well now the challange is to get the grass stain that is impossible to get out! My 10 year old’s baseball team actually talks about how there mom wont beable to get this stain out of the pants! Got to love kids! I think it is great. Now it has spilled over to home life and my 13 year old is outside playing hoops and throwing the baseball around an his knees are dirty too!

I am armed with SHOUT and OXYCLEAN and told them to BRING IT ON :-O

So far I am getting the stains out and kicking them back into play.

My goals for the week are….

Well lets see I am doing a hugh life stlye change (360 degrees) soooo where to begin.

1. Come up with a diet plan. Have tried just about all the majors. not sure what makes since for my new life  (job and all)!

2. By the end of the week add 4 20oz bottles of water in to daily diet.

3. Start walking again

4. Make kitchen more weight loss friendly (out with the big platters that we eat on  now and the huge bowls . In with the small bowls and salad /bread plates) clean out the fridge and pantry OH YEAH I have 3 fridges and a pantry the size of a truck!

Thinking I might have to have a yardsale when I am done! lol

Any suggestions or helpful hints on how to accomplish these greatly appericated!
