WATER question ????
Can coffee and tea becounted as part of your water intake? I know that when I did Jenny Craig you could count it for only 1/2 of your daily water intake. It did however have to be decafe and no sugar added . That was many years ago. What is the thinking now?
No, you can only count water as water, if you really want to be kind to your body, it doesn’t require any processing. Of course if you just have in mind to fill up on liquid then you can count anything wet, but it’s a better choice than soda for sure.
Some, myself included, believe that water with a squeeze of lemon or lime juice is very good because it helps adjust the pH of the body, but I only drink that first thing in the morning and occasionally at a meal.
yeah…coffee and tea have the opposite effect of water, thanks to the caffine in them. Caffine actually dehydrates you. And yes, there is as much caffine in tea as there is in coffee (herbal tea has no caffine though, it’s an aquired taste!)
