Getting to know this site better.

Well I do not have alot of time to sit and play on the computer. So after a week in a half of clicking on this an that, I have struck gold! I can post my food journal and calories burned for all to see! This will help keep me inline! And help me with my plowing thru the snacks in the house. Do I really want to post I ate that! Starting to think before eating (a good sign I think) ;-)

Just getting it out!

I Love the fact that I can get what ever is in me head out. Before Buddy slim the only people I had to talk about daily ups and downs where the people here (at my house or local friends) and they had issues of they own. I had to be careful what I said could not really let it flow. Also could not really enjoy my ups either because I felt guilty about my good day because they were down.  Here I can let it flow good or bad and there is not guilt or having to hold back. Thanks for listening to my ramble.

Kids and there dirty knees!

I love to see pants with dirty knees! It mean my kids are out and playing not sitting in front of the TV or computer or video game…. you get the drift.

ok the back story…… our family is verrry couch potatoish! And we are trying to change that! I have a 10 year old and a 13 year old both boys and both very different. My 10 year old plays baseball and soccer pretty well . My 13 year old does not like sports by has found karate and likes it. Well now the challange is to get the grass stain that is impossible to get out! My 10 year old’s baseball team actually talks about how there mom wont beable to get this stain out of the pants! Got to love kids! I think it is great. Now it has spilled over to home life and my 13 year old is outside playing hoops and throwing the baseball around an his knees are dirty too!

I am armed with SHOUT and OXYCLEAN and told them to BRING IT ON :-O

So far I am getting the stains out and kicking them back into play.

My goals for the week are….

Well lets see I am doing a hugh life stlye change (360 degrees) soooo where to begin.

1. Come up with a diet plan. Have tried just about all the majors. not sure what makes since for my new life  (job and all)!

2. By the end of the week add 4 20oz bottles of water in to daily diet.

3. Start walking again

4. Make kitchen more weight loss friendly (out with the big platters that we eat on  now and the huge bowls . In with the small bowls and salad /bread plates) clean out the fridge and pantry OH YEAH I have 3 fridges and a pantry the size of a truck!

Thinking I might have to have a yardsale when I am done! lol

Any suggestions or helpful hints on how to accomplish these greatly appericated!

I am having a GRRRREAT MONDAY!

Well the scale and I have a new direction !I stepped on the scale and had to do it again. It said 4 lbs less that last week (I have been steadly gaining). That put a smile on me.

Then a Job I have been waiting (not so patiently) for 2 weeks to hear if they were going to offer it to me or not. CALLED and offered more than I expected in salary and perks! Now I am going to have a job that will make me more active and also will be contributing to the household buget again!

Now for my Third yeah me how many points can I get today!

Day 2,3,4 Surprise honey we are going out of town!

Well after my carefully planed meals for the weekend went out the window. I told hubby we need to pack a cooler and snacks for the road. Trying to think heathy and low cal. He states it is only a 4 hour drive we will stop twice and not snack but have dinner where we can all get something good for us. That bringing snacks would cause us to mindlessly eat. Well I agreeed and quickly packed. OH Yeah  we are going to see are friends in Tenn. They are a very active couple and sould not have a lot of junk food in the house. I am jazzed because we have not see them in a couple of years and I should be able to eat right and get some exercise. Guess What It all worked out ! I ate small healthy portions (lots of veggies and fruit) and walked all over the place .The kids played hard with there Daughter!!! :-) We are planing to go TENT camping with them in June! Looking very forward to that!  Just got back very tired by in a good way. Weighing in monday am and looking forward to the ROCKSTAR challange of the week.

DAY 1 WENT……..

Well lets say great until dinner. I am working on cutting portions and smarter choices.

I had a cerel bar for breakfast. sandwich and crackers w/ cheese for lunch, Dinner do you know McD’s does not have anything for the one driving to eat that is not smothered ,covered, or dripping with fat and sauce! Got caught up in running around with the kids (in the car) 7p we are hungry and still have to make it to baseball and karate! mmmmmm well short on time and money so McD’s it is! Well the kids no problem they know what they want, I looked and looked for something healthy to eat while I am driving. mmmmm lets see shall I get the normal Number 1 with diet coke and supersize it. NO you started you new life stlye! ok lets have the grilled chicken combo and diet coke med size. Well I did not eat the bun and mayo. But that cheese was melted to it so I had to eat it YUM !-) ! Did not know swiss cheese had that many caloires in it :-( . Oh yeah I did eat the frys. I was only going to eat 1/2 but they all disappered somehow!  I know I need to plan better but it is soooo easy to live fat!

Oh yeah I did pushmow the lawn for about 1 hour May have burned off the swiss cheese!lol

  

Getting Started

OK today is the day! I really mean it this time. ;-) I am going to do it (with your help)

I need to be held accountable and have someone besided family and friends who forgive me for continually giving in to temtation and gaining weight. I have gained and lost soooo much weight that I think my body is confused! ;-0 Anyway a little about my self: I am the mother of 2 boys ages 13 and 10 I am married to a wonderful man who wishes for my health and well being (my mind) I would loseweight. I have recently changed my career. I was working with animals at a vets office and loving it. BUT it had no future this is somthing I have done all my life! Soo now I have spent 6 month going to school to work with people and now I hopefully have a job lined up. We shall see!  Along with animals weight issues have been with me all my life and I need to basically get the extra weight off and then maintain. I have been on every diet know to man I think :-) and know what I have to do. IT IS JUST DOING IT!  So I have posted my info for all to see and hopefully you all will keep tabs on me, help me with my emotional eating by letting my vent and celebrate with me too! Oh yeah not a english major so spelling and gramer most likley will be off.  Would love to hear any advise and I will hopfully be there when you need someone to vent to or celebrate with!
